General Overview

Callsun (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "the Company") solemnly guarantees that, subject to the exclusions and limitations outlined in this Limited Warranty, all Callsun-branded products (hereinafter referred to as the "Product") are covered by our quality assurance services within their specified warranty periods.

Original Purchaser Protection

This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to the original end-user who purchased a brand-new product directly through the official Callsun website (callsunsolar.com). This warranty is non-transferable and does not extend to any subsequent owners or transferees.

Warranty Commencement

The warranty period officially begins on the actual delivery date of the Product to the original end-user. To initiate any warranty claim, the purchaser must provide original proof of purchase (such as a sales invoice or delivery receipt) issued by an authorized channel for issue diagnosis and service approval.

Discretionary Remedies

For valid warranty claims, Callsun reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exercise any of the following options: (i) repair the defect; (ii) replace the product with a new or refurbished part of equivalent performance; or (iii) issue a partial refund proportional to the product’s remaining useful value.  

No Warranty Extension

Repaired or replaced products shall be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer. The act of repair or replacement does not reset or extend the original warranty duration.  

Transfer of Ownership

All replacement services are provided on an "exchange" basis. Upon the provision of a replacement product by Callsun, the ownership of the original defective part or unit shall immediately transfer to Callsun.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty is contingent upon the proper use of the product under normal environmental conditions. The warranty does not apply to any of the following circumstances:  

a) Normal Wear and Tear & Cosmetic Aging: This includes, but is not limited to, natural degradation from long-term outdoor exposure (e.g., slight yellowing of EVA film or minor oxidation scratches on aluminum frames). As long as such cosmetic changes do not affect the product's rated power output, they are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.  

b) Improper Installation, Operation, or Maintenance: Damage resulting from electrical connections not made in strict accordance with official Callsun manuals (e.g., series/parallel errors, voltage overload, reverse polarity). This also includes damage from falling, impact, or detachment during RV transit or static installation due to insecure mounting.  

c) Unauthorized Modification and Disassembly: Any cutting of original cables, disassembly or opening of the Junction Box, or any structural or circuit adjustments/modifications made without prior written consent from Callsun.  

d) Model-Specific Configuration Errors: Performance issues resulting from failure to use officially recommended system configurations or wiring schemes for specialized multi-zone designs (e.g., the Callsun 215W 4-zone anti-shade panel).  

e) Extreme Environments and Force Majeure: Physical damage caused by earthquakes, fires, floods, lightning, electromagnetic interference, or extreme weather exceeding the product’s designed wind/snow load limits (e.g., severe hail, hurricanes, or sandstorms).  

f) Invalid Credentials and Identification: Failure to provide valid original proof of purchase and delivery. 

g) Third-Party Factors: Damage caused by using the equipment with third-party accessories, connectors, or auxiliary peripherals not provided or recommended by Callsun.  

h) Unofficial Channels: Products explicitly purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers or second-hand platforms.  

i) External Environmental Interference: Circuit damage caused by power grid fluctuations, unstable voltage input, lightning surges, or operation in environments with extreme electromagnetic interference (e.g., near mining areas or high-voltage towers).  

j) Promotional and Non-Standard Items: Promotional giveaways included with the main shipment, test samples, or products marked "AS IS" or "Prototype".

How to Claim Warranty - RMA ProcessAccuracy of Information

All order information, serial number (SN) photos, and diagnostic videos submitted by the customer must be authentic and valid. If a product is lost or delivery fails due to an incorrect shipping address or an invalid contact number provided by the customer, the customer shall bear full responsibility for all losses and any additional re-delivery fees incurred.  To ensure your application is processed efficiently, please strictly follow the three steps below. The Callsun after-sales team will provide support through our standardized process. 

Step 1: Initiate a Claim
Please contact our customer service team via the official after-sales email: services@callsunsolar.com. To improve communication efficiency, your email subject line must follow this format: Order Number + Warranty Claim.

Step 2: Provide Required Proofs
Upon receiving your initial request, you must provide the following details in your email for fault diagnosis:  Proof of Purchase: A screenshot of the original order number, receipt, or invoice from an official channel.  Product Identification: A clear photo of the SN serial number (barcode) located on the back of the product or the junction box.  Proof of Fault: This must include close-up photos of the damaged area. For performance-related issues, a short video showing a multimeter test of the voltage (Voc) or current (Isc) is required. 

Step 3: Return Instructions
Once your application passes the preliminary review, the Callsun after-sales team will email you the return address and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (typically your original order number).

Operating Standards: When shipping the package back, please clearly mark your Order Number on the outside of the box, or include a note inside with your name, contact information, and a brief description of the fault. This ensures our warehouse can identify your identity and begin testing immediately upon receipt.

Handling of Non-conforming Items

Non-conforming Claim Fees

If, upon testing by the Callsun Technical Center, the returned product falls into any of the following categories: (1) it is functioning normally with no identified faults; or (2) it falls under the warranty exclusions (e.g., man-made damage, water immersion, etc.), the customer shall be responsible for all related costs.

Right to Dispose

Callsun shall deem the product abandoned by the customer if the claim is determined to be non-conforming and the customer refuses to pay the return shipping fees, or if the customer fails to provide clear instructions for disposal within fourteen (14) days from the date of our last communication. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage fees or to destroy or recycle the item in accordance with local regulations.

Shipping Fees

Callsun is committed to providing efficient after-sales support to our customers. Responsibilities for logistics costs are allocated based on the product delivery date and the nature of the fault as follows:

Within 30 Days of Delivery (Manufacturing Defects)
If the Callsun technical team determines that the product failure is indeed caused by manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, Callsun will cover all round-trip shipping costs for returning the faulty product and sending out the replacement. This provision applies only to quality-related claims that meet warranty conditions.

After 30 Days of Delivery (Within Warranty Period)
If a non-human-related performance failure occurs after 30 days of delivery but before the warranty expires:  

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the one-way shipping costs and related packaging expenses for sending the product to Callsun’s designated service location or warehouse.  

Outgoing Shipping: Once the product repair is complete or a replacement is confirmed, Callsun will cover the one-way shipping costs to return the product to the customer.

Packaging Standard
Customers have a legal obligation to ensure proper packaging when returning products. Callsun is not responsible for any secondary damage occurring during transit due to inadequate packaging or lack of shock protection. Furthermore, Callsun reserves the right to reject the warranty claim as a result of such damage.

Callsun’s Liability Limit

This Limited Warranty constitutes your sole and exclusive remedy for product defects. Callsun’s total legal liability, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by you for the defective product. Callsun reserves the right of final interpretation to provide repair, replacement, or a proportional refund based on the specific circumstances.

Exclusions of Indirect Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Callsun shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages. This exclusion includes, but is not limited to, the following scenarios:

1.Labor and Service Costs: Fees incurred for hiring third-party electricians or installers for product removal, re-installation, or system debugging.

2.Operational and Lifestyle Losses: Losses arising from RV downtime, travel delays, or the spoilage of food during camping due to power interruptions caused by product failure.

3.Indirect Economic Losses: Loss of business income, data loss, or any indirect expenses unrelated to the product hardware itself in either residential or commercial applications.

General Statement

This limitation of liability remains effective even if any aforementioned remedy fails its essential purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or region to region, depending on local jurisdiction.
