1. Are these Z-brackets strong enough to support large, high-wattage solar panels?

Yes. Built from high-strength aluminum alloy, these brackets fit 40W to 700W solar panels. For larger, heavier modules, we recommend using more than four brackets per panel to ensure maximum stability.

2. What is the purpose of the elevated Z-bracket design?

The elevated design lifts the panel slightly off the surface. This creates crucial clearance for cable routing and allows continuous airflow underneath to cool the panel, preventing power drops caused by overheating.

3. Will screwing these brackets into my RV roof cause water leaks?

The kit includes standard screws and hardware. However, to guarantee a 100% waterproof seal on an RV, boat, or cabin roof, you should always apply solar lap sealant over and under the bracket bases and screw holes.

4. Does the package include all the necessary hardware for mounting?

Yes. It comes as a complete installation kit including all required screws, nuts, and washers. You will not need to purchase separate mounting hardware to attach the brackets to the panel and roof.
